CEAD is looking for a:

Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer within CEAD, you are responsible for all electrical engineering aspects for our systems and machines. This includes working on making designs and calculations, performing analyses and solving quality problems, working on technical drawings and optimizing existing designs. You will do this in the different project phases, and thus will be in direct communication with our various teams. You will also provide support for the execution of the projects throughout the project. You will be part of the engineering team, and work close together with our software, project and assembly and service engineers, in order to get the best possible overview of the projects and customer requirements. As part of your work you will compile project files, archive and manage important technical documentation, drawings and manuals for the benefit of the installation you have designed.


Electrical Design: You will be the lead in designing and creating/maintaining the documentation of all electrical circuits and cabinets for our machines.

Design Integrity and Safety: Uphold the design integrity of electrical systems according to CE and UL regulation, with focus on safety standards (for example machinery directive and low-voltage directive).

Support: Serve as a knowledgeable resource for answering production-related questions, acting as a key point of contact for various departments within the company, including production and sales.

Power Calculations: Conduct power calculations to provide essential information for sales purposes and offer expert advice to customers.

Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative aspects such as compiling parts lists, creating cable packages, and making informed component selections.


  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledgeable about E-plan or similar software suite.
  • Minimal of 3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer at a company that builds industrial machinery
  • Proven experience in electrical design, with a focus on machine design


  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively address team members and colleagues;
  • Administrative proficiency, including compiling parts lists and managing cable packages;
  • Proficient in the English language
  • You have not only a technical but also a cost-driven focus, which contributes to the realization of project goals;
  • By nature you love technology, are news and eager to learn and have a collaborative attitude;
  • Familiar with 2- and 3D drawing programs;
  • Knowledge of the standards and guidelines and relevant laws and regulations of various countries in the field of electrical engineering, or you are interested in learning about them;
